- How long will the EZ-Mount last?
EZ-Mount guides will last through thousands of uses. You can extend
the life of your EZ-Mount jig by inserting hinge plates face down
into the jig as shown in the step-by-step example. Hinge
manufacturer tolerances vary from .005" to.010". Some will
fit tightly while others fit more loosely and the EZ-Mount jig was
built to accommodate this variance.
- What hinges can I use?
Currently The EZ-Mount jig is designed to fit: EZ-Mounts hinge by
CST, EZCST series Use EZ-Mount #EZSS-0708.
Salice stamped steel clip-on hinge plate BAV3L, Use EZ-Mount part #
SSP-0105.
Salice cast steel clip-on hinge plate # BAR3R, BAP3R, series Use
EZ-Mount # SCP-0105.
Blum stamped steel clip-on hinge plate # 173H series, Use EZ-Mount #
BSSP-0104.
Blum Cast steel clip-on hinge plate # 175H series, Use EZ-Mount #

- Does the jig align for hinge boring
on the door?
The jig positions the hinge plate to correct set back and a 3"
center from top or bottom of cabinet. (this 3" center will vary
with Face frame
applications ) The basic principal is the same with the frameless
application when boring the door for the hinges. See hinge
boring instructions.
- I am using a Blum hinge plate and
it will not fit in the EZ-Mount jig. Why?
Hinge plate factory zero settings have been altered. Reset hinge
plate adjustment screw and insert plate into EZ-Mount jig.
- I have mounted my Salice hinge
plate ( BAP3R or BAR3R) but have no adjustment available. Why?
Hinge plates must be at factory zero settings before installation to
allow proper adjustment of installed hinge plate, reset to natural
(original factory adj.) Plug holes and remount hinge plate.
- I have lost the instructions for my
